Privacy considerations when handling personal information with suppliers
Privacy is a topic that has received renewed focus for many organisations since March 2014 when the new APP Guidelines came into effect. Here are some of the considerations to reflect upon before handing over any data.
Acceleon produces an Electronic Public Number Directory. Every day Acceleon recieves updates to currently listed telephone numbers by all of the Telecommunications Companies in the country. This helps ensure that Acceleon is able to produce deliver the most current information possible.
In 2014 Acceleon became an ASIC information broker. This provides Acceleon with the capacity to produce value-added products that leverage the ASIC Company and Business Name registers.
The Marketing Data that Acceleon has access to contains over 7 million current listings. The difference between our database and the database of other vendors is that we spend significant effort trying to ensure that a current record is current. Our goal is to ensure that you don’t waste time calling disconnected numbers. We value your time!
The Acceleon history file provides 20 years of historical records and is updated daily. Rather than make nonsensical claims of database size, we challenge you to find a more comprehensive, legal, and linked database of historical records.
The ABR is a register of ABN’s and all Legal and Trading Names. Acceleon has established a history over the past 6 years of all business names allowing Acceleon to link client data with current published data to ensure that a clients business information is as current as possible. It also helps link sole traders from a business name to a consumer telephone listing.
Acceleon has teamed up with our friends at RDA Research to produce a geodemographic profile of variables to help an agent to assess the likelihood of a household to adhere to a payment plan. This is not an individual level assessment, rather a general assessment based on ABS Census results.
Acceleon has gained exclusive access to a database of privacy compliant email addresses and phone numbers. This database provides many records that are not available in the other databases so is an excellent addition to Acceleon's suite of databases.
